hsh-systems in Osterburken

“Made in Germany“– this world wide recognised quality seal for Germany is largely due to one of its most traditional industries: mechanical engineering and system construction. „That‘s right!“ Many will say, for the local professionalism in planning and design could hardly be exceeded. One pioneer of this sector in the area of quality acknowledgement is the company AZO GmbH + Co. KG based in Osterburken in Baden-Württemberg. The raw materials automation and processing specialist has set-up a test centre, where the employees together with customers subject certain partial systems to preliminary tests. For the operation and visualization of this constantly changing, dynamic system configuration, AZO trusts the SCADA/HMI software from WEBfactory.

No nasty Surprises

On the sixtieth anniversary of the AZO Company and the thirtieth anniversary of its subsidiary, the company hsh-systeme für prozess-IT gmbh, who are responsible for the software part of the systems automation, the new test centre for raw materials handling was inaugurated. A new concept – the inventory was set up in modules for process technology as well as control technology – allows the system builder to set up faster and more flexible test cases, from the practical experience of his customers. The offer includes, among others areas such as weighing, big-bag-handling, pneumatic conveying, sifting and container handling. The in-house product database now includes data from over 4000 test series, data available for the planning and design of new installations. In the AZO test centre, approximately 200 tests can be performed per year on customer products. Customers are often on site for these tests and are watching carefully how bulk materials behave during handling. All service data is accurately recorded, documented with WEBfactory and provided to the customer for checking. Customers highly benefit from this test phase. Firstly, they can determine in advance the optimal method to handle the raw material, so as to ensure the least damage possible to the grains of the sensitive bulk material. Secondly, the time between commissioning the system at the customer venue and reaching full production capacity is significantly reduced, since the unforeseeable complications can be determined and excluded in the practical tests performed in the test centre.
